Mr. Fanning is a 1971 graduate of Hereford High School.  He received his B.S. in 1975 and his Masters of Education in 1978 from West Texas State University.

He began his career with HISD as an Educational Diagnostician for 11 years.  He then served as the Assistant Principal at Northwest Primary School  for 4 years, Principal at Shirley Elementary for 9 years and is now in his 5th year as Principal of Northwest Primary School.

Mr. Fanning states "Hereford ISD is a great school district where we have high expectations for all students."
