Dear Mrs. Gilley and boys and girls,

Suzy Red sent me the link to the podcast of your Readers' Theater of Substitute Groundhog. I was so surprised and pleased to see several of you holding my book and performing the script. Wow!

I do hope you like the book. It took four years to be published from the day I wrote the first draft. Twenty-nine publishers rejected the book before Albert Whitman called me on July 28, 2005 to tell me they wanted the book. Want to know something funny? I wasn't home to get the call because I was at one of Suzy Red's workshops! So my answering machine got the call and I could listen to the incredible good news over and over and over again. :-)

Thanks for your sharing your performance on a podcast. I enjoyed it!

Sincerely,

Pat Miller
