September 22, 2022 @ 8:30am - Location: Hereford Civic Center

October 18, 2022 @ 1:30pm- Location: Administration Building

November 09, 2022 @ 1:30pm - Location: Administration Building

January 12, 2022 @ 8:30am - Location: Administration Building

SUBSTITUTE PAY SCHEDULE

The daily rate of pay for substitutes is established each year by the Board of Trustees The current daily substitute rates are as follows based on a full or half-day assignment:

Substitute	Full day rate	Half-day rate
Non-degreed	$80.00	$40.00
Bachelors/Masters Degree/ Certified Teacher	$85.00	$42.50
Hereford ISD Retired Teacher	$105.00	$52.50

Administrator (fully certified) - $300.00 per day or $150.00 per half day

*Only when substituting for a campus administrator and Superintendent approval is required.

*Degreed - An official transcript showing degree earned must be on file in order to qualify for degreed substitute pay. A degreed substitute is defined as a substitute who holds a bachelor's, masters, or doctorate degree.

*Certified - An official transcript showing degree earned and a valid Texas teaching certificate must be on file in order to qualify for certified teacher substitute pay.

Returning Substitutes

Please remember you have to complete a couple of trainings and sign your paperwork electronically to stay as an active sub.
