After a career in law enforcement that began in 1981, Bryan Hedrick joined Hereford Independent School District in April 1995. He has served as the Law Enforcement Instructor, High School Web Master, Coordinator of Security, and Director of Safety and Security. Bryan was named Director of Special Services in July 2017. Bryan is also the unofficial District photographer.
He remains active in law enforcement he was elected a constable of Deaf Smith County in 1999 and graduated from the Panhandle Regional Law Enforcement Academy in 1981.
Elected as Constable of Deaf Smith County in 1999. He holds a Master's License in Law Enforcement, a Texas Crime Prevention Practitioners license, Field Training Officer, Certified County Jailer, and Certified Instructor from the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Education. National Association of School Resource Officers National Practitioner Bryan is a member of the Justice of the Peace and Constables Association, National Association of School Resource Officers, Texas Association of School Resource Officers, Texas Gang Investors Association, Texas State Teachers Association, and the Harley Owners Group.
Bryan was appointed by Governor Greg Abbott to the board of directors for the Texas School Safety Center, in 2019.
Married to Jana, a 2nd-grade teacher at Bluebonnet Elementary, and have 1 Max who is 14.
