Migrant Intervention Specialist

I received my bachelor's degree in bilingual education in 2006 from WTAMU.  I am beginning my 12th year with HISD.     I taught kindergarten and 1st grade for 4 years as a bilingual teacher at Northwest and West Central.  I changed positions in 2009 and currently serve as a migrant intervention specialist for HISD.  The campuses I serve are Stanton, which includes the home educated students as well, Tierra Blanca Elementary, Northwest Elementary, Hereford Jr. High, and Hereford Preparatory Academy.  I am in the process of completing my masters in administration at WTAMU.

I am married to Dan Pesina, have three sons (Bryan, Eric & Jacob) all graduates of Hereford High School, Jacob is a current student at Texas Tech University.  I also have two daughter in laws (Kris & Mendy), and three grandchildren (Kraegan, Kadence & Kenleigh) who currently attend Hereford ISD schools.  I enjoy spending time with family and friends!
