Herd team with TMobile representative receiving a check on the football field

Hereford ISD recently made it official, welcoming T Mobile representative Luis Moreno to celebrate the district’s $5,000 award through the Friday Night 5G Lights campaign. The award recognizes the enthusiasm and support surrounding high school athletics and gives Hereford another opportunity to invest directly in its students.

The $5,000 award will go right back into supporting the Hereford football program and its student athletes, helping provide additional resources and opportunities for the program.

The recognition was also a community effort. Throughout the campaign, Herd Nation has helped amplify Hereford Athletics by following, sharing and engaging with posts across social media. That continued support has helped showcase the school spirit and community pride that surround Hereford athletics.

And Hereford is not finished yet.

The Herd is now in the running for the next $25,000 prize, and continued success in the Friday Night 5G Lights campaign could ultimately put Hereford in contention for the $1 million grand prize stadium renovation. For a program and community like ours, an investment of that size could go a long way toward improving facilities and creating an even better experience for current and future generations of Whitefaces.

Every post, repost, share and tag provides another opportunity to show T Mobile the incredible support behind Hereford students and athletics. The first $5,000 is already coming home to Hereford, and Herd Nation has an opportunity to help keep that momentum going.

Thank you to T Mobile for investing in high school athletics, and thank you to the Hereford community for continuing to show what Whiteface pride is all about.

We’ve brought home $5,000. Now, let’s see how far the Herd can take it.
