Accidents can happen in an instant, but safe gun storage can save lives. Every year, thousands of children gain access to unsecured firearms, leading to preventable tragedies. Storing guns unloaded, locked, and separate from ammunition significantly reduces the risk of accidental shootings and suicide. Follow these steps to protect our students and keep our community safe.

There's a lot going on at HISD! Due to a staff and substitute shortage this Friday, there will be no classes for students. Enjoy the day off and take the opportunity to support our students in their events and activities!
